Hybrid Carry-On Plus(Set)

I have a carry on but nothing as luxurious as this. Although the box arrived somewhat mangled, the luggage was unscathed. What a simple but super functional piece of luggage. Very smooth roll and sturdy. Super lightweight too. Yes the handle does move ever so slightly but most luggage do that, so it really doesn't take away from the beauty of this piece. The multilevel height adjustment is such a plus! I cannot wait to get the duffel and the folio! I will Add more to this review once I receive them. I will be traveling in month of so, so I'll get to really test it out more than in the video. The color is quite uniform all around, which I like and super smooth. So far, a definite great buy. Will update soon!

The only possible suggestion would be that I bought the Por hybrid and non-hybrid carry-on and liked the outer flap on the non-hybrid, for papers and computer. Perhaps you should consider adding that to the Hybrid model. Also, it would be nice if the colour matching could include entire line.

I can only speak of visuals because I haven't gone on my trip yet. I love the champagne color and the rolling smoothness of the wheels. I love the fact that there are no zippers. But no instructions were included on setting the locks with a new combination. Can't wait to use all the luggage sets I bought! Still waiting for a few to ship.

Everything about this piece of luggage is beautiful and flawless. I have not gotten the chance to use it, but I was able to test it out around the house and it performs beautifully.

The wheels are silent and smooth and the handle has some wobble, but nothing too alarming.

The finish is more of a matte aluminum which resembles to me, the dull side of aluminum foil.

The latches, zippers and buckles work wonderfully and the interior is stunning.

Inside I found a cleaning sponge with directions, a note from Monos, a black leather luggage tag and several laundry bags.

I cannot wait to put this piece to the test.

So as an "overpacker in recovery" I have been on a mission to only pack what I need for my trips. I had already decided on Monos for my next carry on, but when they launched the Hybrid I couldn't click 'buy' fast enough. I just took my first post pandemic trip for a week to see some friends and this thing performed beautifully. First off, packing this was so intuitive. I used the monos packing cubes for most of my clothes, but there are just so many small design features that made it effortless to pack the smaller items (makeup bag, toiletries, flip flops, hair stuff, foldable purse etc). Second it fit in the 'larger' bin of a Delta CRJ regional jet with NO issues. I turned it sideways and it slid right in, no pushing no shoving. On the way there I was asked to gate check but I think that was more about the flight being packed than the size. The handle is really sturdy and the wheels glide smoothly on most surfaces. I love this bag so much. Between the hybrid and the duffle I don't think I'll be checking bags again unless it's for a much longer trip.
