Awkward to lift
While this bag is great quality, rolls easily and holds just a ton of stuff The one issue I have with the bag is that it is very awkward to lift up when loaded, either onto a table (think customs) or in/out of a car trunk.
What this bag desperately needs is a strap/handhold on the bottom between the wheels so you could just tip it, grab top and bottom and lift it up horizontally. As it is, you can grab the top handle and grab a wheel to try and lift it up out of a car trunk, or grab the side handle and drag it out. Either way is awkward. The funny thing is that all my other "cheaper" suitcases have both top and bottom handles. Spending on premium luggage I would have expected this useful feature. I'm going to try and get Monos to ship me (purchase) a spare handle assembly and install it myself in my toolshop. Like a personal prototype. If they won't, then I'll have to find a replacement handle somewhere else and try for as close a colour/style match as I can. For this reason alone I can't give them the 5th star, no matter all the other good things this bag does.
